Appointments System
The Practice has adopted a triage system to deal with daily requests for GP/Nurse practitioner appointments. Patients can contact the surgery between 8am and 1pm for these. During this time our Doctors and Nurse Practitioners will triage your appointment.
Further appointments can be made in advance either over the telephone or face to face.
We offer online appointments for our GP/Nurse Practitioners. To access this you will need to register for our online services. Please call into reception with photo I.D to register.
After 1 pm urgent on the day queries will be dealt with.
Our staff are trained in care navigation, and you will be asked for a brief outline of your problem, this would help to traige more effectively, and will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
If you are experiencing chest pain/ breathing difficulties/patient collapse or life-threatening condition please dial 999.
Practice Nurses
In a number of cases, it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.
Cancel/Change Appointment
It is important that you inform the reception staff or cancel online (you will need to be registered for this service) if you are unable to attend your appointment. This will allow your appointment to be offered to another patient.
If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.
Please try to give us at least 24 hours notice if cancelling an appointment. To cancel online please select the online button.
